SRMJEEE 2018 Engineering Entrance Exam and All There is To Know Before You Apply


The SRMJEEE 2018 is an entrance examination that the candidates in the country and the state will be able to apply to after they have successfully completed their class 12th examination.

The SRMJEEE 2018 eligibility criteria mandates that the candidates will have to abide by the eligibility norms as given by the exam council. The SRM University will be conducting the SRMJEEE 2018 to grant admission to candidates into nearly 7000 undergraduate seats across all four campuses – Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Vadapalani and NCR Ghaziabad.

The candidates must note that they will be granted admission to B. Tech programs on the basis of the scores obtained by the candidates in the SRMJEEE 2018. The national level engineering entrance exam shall be held in online mode in the month of April 2018. ARM, also known as Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University is a very popular university situated in Chennai which has called in applications to give admission to candidates into various seats across B. Tech programs into different streams. The university will also provide for slot booking provisions before the commencement of the entrance exam. As such, the candidates will need to make sure that they will have to make their slot selections accordingly and wisely.

The SRMJEEE 2018 eligibility criteria will be specified by the exam council for admission to the engineering courses through the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination 2018. The candidates will only be allowed to appear in the entrance examination. The candidates must also make sure that they will have to download the exam admit card from the official website of SRM University which is the exam conducting authority of the SRMJEEE 2018.

 The candidates must note that eligibility norms that have been mentioned by the exam council in the column below.

The candidates are required to have passed their class 12th examination in the science stream to successfully apply for the SRMJEEE 2018 engineering entrance exam. The candidates will also have to score a minimum aggregate of 70 percent marks or equivalent grades in their previous qualifying examination. The candidates are also required to have passed in the English subject as well. All aspirants applying to the course of B. Tech Biotechnology or Bioinformatics will have to secure a minimum aggregate of 70 percent marks in all prevailing subjects that they have studied during the preparation of their exam syllabus.

SRMJEE 2018 Application form will be made available to the candidates in due time, as per the schedule mentioned by the exam council. All applying candidates will have to make sure that they make a payment of INR 900 as the application fee payment and complete the application process.

The candidates are further notified that they will only be selected on the basis of the scores obtained in the entrance exam only. As such, the candidates are suggested to study hard and prepare well for the entrance examination of SRMJEEE 2018.

The candidates must however note the fact that they will have to make the application fee payment through the online mode only. The candidates can use online payment options like net banking, debit card, credit card and cash cards as well. 

The candidates however must keep track of the fact that they will only be shortlisted for the counselling process once the results are out. And only those candidates will be able to make it to the counselling session who score above the cut-off limit as mentioned by the exam council. 

The SRMJEEE 2018 Exam date have been scheduled for the month of April 2018, and the candidates will have to make sure that they keep track of the exam dates for the SRM JEEE 2018 entrance exam.
