The Amrita MBBS 2018 exam is expected to be held in the second week of May. This paper-pen based OMR exam is imperative for MBBS and BDS aspirants who wish to pick up admission to the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences.
All the aspirants are advised to fill the application form of the exam before the last date in order to avoid any last minute rush. The Amrita MBBS 2018 Application form must be filled online through Amrita Online Application Registration System (OARS).
The application process for the Amrita MBBS 2018 exam will start in the month of March and will end in the month of May 2018. The candidates willing to get admissions can apply on the official website of the university.
Before starting the application process, all the candidates must go thoroughly through the instructions provided.  The applicants should enroll on OARS site using a valid email-ID. Fill in all your details asked in the application form.  Candidates have to upload scanned photograph and signature in order to complete the application process. The Amrita MBBS 2018 application fee is Rs 1500.
The eligibility criteria for Amrita MBBS 2018 exam states that, the minimum age limit is 17 years and the maximum age for the exam is 23 years. Candidates must have scored aggregate 60% marks in physics, chemistry, biology/ biotechnology, and separately 60% marks in English in 12th standard or equivalent exam.
The exam will be conducted for 2 hours and 30 minutes. There will be 25 questions from physics, 35 questions from chemistry, 20 questions from English and general knowledge, and 70 questions from biology or biotechnology.
The admit card for the exam will be released two-three weeks before the date of exam. Only the candidates who have submitted their application form successfully will be issued admit cards. The admit cards will be available on the official website of the university for download.
The selection of the candidates will be based on the marks scored by them in the Amrita MBBS exam. The result of the exam is expected to be release after two or three weeks of the exam, i.e. June 2018 tentatively. The result will be announced on the official website of the university.
